Ashland University’s 1 Year Online MBA Program
Our Online MBA program is designed to be completed start-to-finish in less than 1 year. Tuition is $33,900 and includes all web-based course materials.
The curriculum is structured into a series of 30 credit hours, delivered over 6 sessions that span just under 12 months. Even though our 1 Year Online MBA programs are designed for an accelerated schedule, it is also available in part-time format and part-time students typically complete the program within two years.
Students can enroll in the program Online from anywhere in the United States, however Ashland University also makes a hybrid format available, through optional in-class enrollment at any of our 2 MBA Centers and Ashland University’s main campus.

Project Management Specialization & PMP® Certification
The 1 Year Accelerated Online MBA curriculum earns you a Project Management specialization. The coursework is dual-purpose, and additionally provides Project Management Institute approved preparation for earning a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
Accelerated MBA Program
Students can expect to complete the entire MBA program in just 1 year. Earning an MBA in 1 year allows you to quickly accomplish your career goals. Unlike other online MBA programs that can take 2 years or longer, our 1 Year Online MBA program is completed in just 12 short months.
Additionally, you can continue working full-time because our program does not require you to be available Monday-Friday during the normal business day.
We understand that things can change with your schedule and availability. That is why we offer flexible completion of our Online MBA course work. The graduation requirement is a minimum of 30 credit hours. Students can start at one pace, and switch to another.
If you are concerned about having enough time to keep up with a 1 year accelerated MBA program, then our flexibility will allow you to adapt. Students who seek a lower course load can complete the program in less than 3 years.
Ashland University’s Online MBA Program is taught by the same professors and faculty who teach in-class. The Dauch College of Business & Economics is committed to providing the same level of quality for online students, as is provided in the classroom setting.
Hybrid Online & In-Class Structure
Students who are local to Central Ohio and Northeast Ohio can opt to enroll for in-class courses for a physical in-person learning experience. Ashland University teaches MBA courses with the same faculty and professors for in-class and online learning. As a result, local students can enroll for classes at the Ashland University main campus or at one of the 2 off-campus locations in Cleveland (Independence) or Columbus.
Other Specializations Available
Students who don’t want a Project Management focus can choose a different specialization. However, Ashland University can not guarantee a 1 year accelerated program length and options for specialization courses will vary depending on the semester.
Specialization options include: Accounting, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, Global Management, Health Care Management and Leadership, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Sport Management or Supply Chain Management.
