How long does it take to complete the Online MBA program?
The graduation requirement is a minimum of 30 credit hours. Students can start at one pace, such as the Accelerated 1 Year format, and switch to another. Learn more about completing the program at your own pace here.
If you are concerned about having enough time to keep up with a 1 year accelerated MBA program, then our flexibility will allow you to adapt. Students who seek a lower course load can complete the program in less than 3 years.

Is the GMAT/GRE required?
Our careful review of applications, resumes, and prior education accomplishments allows us to predict success in the program. Therefore, GMAT waiver options are available. We require students to have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline and our students who receive a GMAT waiver typically have significant prior workplace experience.
How much will the 1 Year Accelerated Online MBA program cost?
The Accelerated 1 Year MBA program tuition is $29,500 and includes a pre-paid Verizon MiFi hotspot. Additionally, we offer students a 1st year membership and PMP exam fee coverage with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Are specialization offerings part of the MBA curriculum?
Yes. The 1 Year Online MBA’s Accelerated curriculum earns you a Project Management specialization or Sport management specialization. The coursework for project management is dual-purpose and additionally provides Project Management Institute approved preparation for earning a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
Students who don’t want a Project Management focus or are not enrolling in the 1 Year Online MBA program can choose a different specialization. See our specialization page.
Is the MBA program accredited?
Yes. We received our initial professional accreditation in 1993 from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Every 10 years ACBSP fully reviews accredited programs. We received our reaffirmation of accreditation in 2012. Also, we are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, our regional accreditation, which is the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Ashland University’s Dauch College of Business & Economics is also a Member of AACSB International. As a Member, our MBA Program is designed to adhere to all Membership and Accreditation requirements.
Who will serve as the student’s academic advisor?
The Academic Advisors in the MBA Programs Office will serve as the student’s academic advisor. They will assist with course planning, registration, and program review. Students are also encouraged to seek advice from faculty members, especially regarding career planning and which courses to take.
Is there a corporate reimbursement option available for students whose company or organization provides tuition assistance for employees?
Yes. Students may delay their tuition payment until the end of the semester. Upon receiving their final grades the student will have approximately 30 days to pay their balance. There is a $40 corporate reimbursement processing fee per course that will be assessed to the student’s account.
